Tell us a bit about your experience before the Digital Marketing Institute

I was working as a marketing executive. I was interested in the Digital Marketing field and saw the potential but could not completely take advantage and felt I was lacking complete knowledge.

What influenced your decision to study digital?

I believe the evolution of digital media opened up a completely new channel of marketing. It had been 8 years since I completed my MBA in Marketing and the skills & knowledge I had needed an upgrade to move ahead in my career.

Why did you choose to study the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing with the Digital Marketing Institute?

The course offered a perfect mix that covered all the digital marketing basics. It was offered online, meaning I could study during my own time & at the end there was an online exam offering internationally recognized accreditation. This course forms the foundation though the subjects including – SEO, PPC, Digital Display Advertising, Mobile Advertising, Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Strategy formation & Analytics. I also think this is the perfect course to start with as a foundation to build upon further in the field of digital marketing.

Since completing the course in the Digital Marketing Institute, how has your Career progressed?

I am now an Assistant Marketing Manager! With the knowledge gained I am now able to form, implement & analyze a marketing strategy integrating digital and traditional marketing channels. I am able to analyze website traffic and manage it much more efficiently.
