Tell us a bit about your experience before the Digital Marketing Institute
Before studying at the Digital Marketing Institute, I completed my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in year 2000 at Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra, India. Since then I worked in Global brands like Voltas, Daikin, LG & Haier-PZ cussons in roles encompassing sales, marketing and international business development spanning across continents i.e. Asia, Africa and Europe.
What influenced your decision to study in the digital field?
In my last role as marketing director for Haier PZ cussons, I was exposed to the power of digital marketing and positive impact it brings to your overall marketing mix. It provides power in the hand of the marketing and allows them to do customisation, real time monitoring and ROI optimisation.

Shortly, after completing my course I started my own digital marketing agency, 3i Digital Solutions Private Limited. We help businesses develop their digital marketing strategy in sync with their overall business objectives. Our services include Strategy development, Content strategy & development, website design and development, Search engine optimisation, Social media optimisation and marketing, reputation management.
Is there any advice you would give to new students at the Digital Marketing Institute?
One of the interesting addition from DMI, is guest lectures, which brings the industry prospective and latest trends in the industry. Try to attend these sessions as much as possible and to stay updated.
