Tell us a bit about your experience before the Digital Marketing Institute
I graduated in 2012 with a BBS degree from Trinity College and immediately started a position as Business Development Executive at a transport company. I soon realized that I had a strong interest in Marketing and began my career in the AA as Marketing Executive in 2014. A large part of my role involved managing digital campaigns.
What influenced your decision to study in the digital field?
Digital Marketing is key to any successful business, and I knew it was only going to become even more important to every company’s marketing strategy. I wanted to upskill my qualifications because the Digital Marketing world evolves so rapidly.
Since completing the course in the Digital Marketing Institute, how has your Career progressed?
The course allowed me to take on more digital marketing related projects in my role as Marketing Executive in the AA. After completing the course, I felt that I could make more informed decisions and recommendations when managing digital campaigns. It also allowed me to execute more effectively and with confidence.
Is there any advice you would give to new students at the Digital Marketing Institute?
Make the time to sit through the live seminars; they really give insight into what is happening in the industry and help put all the learnings into perspective.
