“The learning doesn’t stop when you leave the lectures. If you’re truly passionate about what you’re doing there is a wealth of podcasts, blogs, books, webinars and other content online that will help grow your knowledge.”

Why did you choose to study with the Digital Marketing Institute?

After researching countless different courses online for months I felt that the Digital Marketing Institute offered me exactly what I was looking for. The module layout and delivery of lectures by industry professionals appealed to me. The internationally recognized programme was also a huge part in making my decision.

Since completing the course, how has your Career progressed?

Before I received my final grades I had been offered an amazing opportunity with PwC in Dublin as part of their digital marketing team. During this time I learned a huge amount from the fantastic team around me which will without doubt benefit me in my career.

I was offered a position in The Company Of Huskies, an agency I have always had huge admiration for, and accepted a role as a Social Media Specialist where I am working today. Having people around me that are this passionate about their job makes me push that bit harder to be better at what I’m doing. So far in my career I have been very fortunate to work in very strong teams where I am constantly learning.

Is there any advice you would give to new students?

The learning doesn’t stop when you leave the lectures. If you’re truly passionate about what you’re doing there is a wealth of podcasts, blogs, books, webinars and other content online that will help grow your knowledge. Putting the new skills you’re learning into practise is also crucial. Don’t be afraid to reach out to local businesses or sports clubs and offer to help them with whatever area you are interested in.
