This toolkit has been designed as a practical resource for candidates who are preparing to interview for a position in Content Marketing.
It is geared towards those at entry level in the content marketing specialty, or applying for positions requiring 0–3 years’ experience in the area. These positions may have the title of ‘Content Editor’, ‘Content Executive’, ‘Content Marketing Executive’ or similar wording.
Many people who are applying for entry-level content marketing positions may already have substantial experience in digital marketing, within other areas of the industry. Alternatively, you may be coming from a background in journalism, either in writing or editing roles, and making the move into content marketing. Therefore, we recommend that this interview toolkit be used in conjunction with our Digital Marketing Interview Preparation Toolkit, which was published on Membership in September 2018.
