[[p]]I&#39;m interested to know how you got into this. Elizabeth, how did you end up CO founding an Amazon advertising agency, and what led you there?[[/p]]

[[p]]Elizabeth Greene[[/p]]

[[p]]Yeah, it is an interesting story. It was one of I like to encompass it by saying I fell into it and I fell in love with it, because I think that&#39;s pretty much true. So my background is housewife. Actually, I went straight from that into this. And so the sort of evolution of it was we were wanting to find some way to make money online, which a lot of us were trying to do. This was about eight years ago, nine maybe, and that led us to e com. There&#39;s, it&#39;s almost overwhelming the options, and I think all of them are not necessarily bad options. There&#39;s so many things that could work, but one of them was selling on Amazon, which, of course, led me to the world of advertising and what we&#39;ve talked about, and I found out that I really, really enjoyed it, but one of the things that I really loved about the community was, again, sort of the openness and willing to share, which I took complete and full advantage of trying to, you know, figure out how to sell on Amazon. But I do distinctly remember the day again, we&#39;re trying to figure out this sort of online, you know, world and how, you know how to benefit from it. I was doing dishes, and my husband walked in, and he had been having a conversation, I think, with my brother in law, who also worked at an Amazon ads agency, and he would say that there was a big opportunity. And there was, at the time, you know, proven you really enjoy it. And I distinctly remember saying, I can&#39;t do it. There&#39;s no way. So to me, it was, it was terrifying, the concept of spending other people&#39;s money. And failure was not just failure of my own, it was potentially impacting somebody else&#39;s life, and that terrified me. Um, and so I said, No, I don&#39;t think I can. And he said, I know we need to do it. And I said, Fine, because now, if I fail, it&#39;s your fault, because you told me I have in my mind, that&#39;s what made it work. And so I really, I just figured it out, and still, I still have that. I think that&#39;s where a lot of my philosophies or views, or wanting to make sure that the, you know, I talked about AD strategy and it relating back to profitability, and a very, you know, like, I believe in a very, not just Amazon centric, product centric, but also business centric ad strategy. Because there&#39;s a lot of things that I found that if we&#39;re just simply looking at, say, Amazon ads in isolation, you might have a completely different answer then looking and say, like business goals or objectives, and then making sure that ad strategy mirrors what makes sense there, or at least laying out the playing field and say, Okay, these are our options. There&#39;s pros and cons, given what you want in business. I know that there&#39;s some cons here, but I feel like this is the best path. Um, so I&#39;ve kind of, I&#39;ve kind of kept that so it really, it&#39;s just been a, it&#39;s been a roller coaster of saying yes to the things that terrify me, and then figuring out somewhere along the way, I think I&#39;m actually kind of good at it, which has been fantastic.[[/p]]

[[p]]That&#39;s great. That&#39;s a great, good story. I think it&#39;s that, it&#39;s always cliche advice in these things, but it&#39;s true that you&#39;re never ready, no to do these things. You just got to jump in. And that&#39;s what the people who are successful in anything do. They don&#39;t wait till they&#39;re ready, do they?&nbsp;[[/p]]
