In the first of three interviews about branding, DMI's global brand director, John Hurley, chats with venturethree, the branding agency that helped us to rebrand our own presence in 2019.

Regine Stefan-Aboud (Creative Director) and Tim Jones (Strategy Director) discuss how to plan, build, and promote a brand strategy for a company.

The first question is, of course, to consider 'what is a brand' - to which the answer is: it's so much more than just a logo! Rather, it is the sum of everything a company or product does, how it looks, behaves, talks. Other aspects under discussion include what a brand is and what it can be, reminding ourselves of the 4 C's, how has branding changed in the digital age, and who are the stakeholders?
