2017 has been an exciting year at the Digital Marketing Institute with significant new global partners and corporate clients announced, along with a brand refresh and the renaming of our certification suite.
As 2018 approaches, we are delighted to take another huge step towards our global expansion ambitions by announcing a €26 million investment by the prominent US growth equity firm, Spectrum Equity.
This substantial investment confirms our leadership in the corporate training and professional certification space and will enable us to accelerate our expansion into other markets by investing in people, products, technology and branded marketing.
This investment presents huge opportunities and will help us address the urgent need for digital professionals across industries. For our corporate clients and education partners, it will help us expand our digital learning programs and build the Digital Marketing Institute’s brand across international markets.
Ted Weissberg, New Executive Chairman
As part of the investment, Ted Weissberg, former CEO of ACAMS, the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists, will join the Board as Executive Chairman and work alongside our CEO, Ken Fitzpatrick and the rest of the team to guide the Digital Marketing Institute into a prosperous and exciting future.
