The Digital Marketing Institute has experienced hyper-growth over the past few years. Our journey has taken us from humble Irish training company to the global certification standard in digital marketing. We now have a presence in over 80 countries, some of the biggest companies in the world among our clients, and over 18,000 digital marketers certified along the way.
2018 is set to be another exciting year with the announcement that we have received a €26 million investment by the prominent US growth equity firm, Spectrum Equity, whose previous investments include Lynda.com, SurveyMonkey and Bitly. This significant investment confirms our leadership in the digital certification market and will enable us to accelerate our expansion by investing in people, products, technology and branded marketing.
As part of the deal, Ted Weissberg, former CEO of ACAMS, the association of certified anti-money laundering specialist and a leading certification body, will join the Board as Executive Chairman alongside our CEO, Ken Fitzpatrick and the rest of the team to guide the Digital Marketing Institute during this exciting time of growth.
As the business continues to evolve, our students can expect a more engaging learning experience, expanded resources, and more exciting opportunities as they certify their skills.
