Gordon Ryan is a Innovation Consultant at Sopra Steria EGGS, where he helps organisations — from small teams to large enterprises — explore new products, services and ways of working. He leads Sopra Steria's international community of experts on Responsible AI, and is currently studying ethics at the University of Bergen to deepen that work. His long list of clients includes IKEA, National Geographic, Munch Museum, and over more recent years has shifted to major public organisations such as Norway´s national infrastructure and public services.
His background is far from conventional. After studying philosophy and economics in the early nineties, he worked in London before spending ten years living off-grid in the Irish countryside. He gradually build a career in design and technology, and moved to Oslo with his young family thirteen years ago — bringing an unusually wide range of life experience to bear on how organisations innovate today.
