When Google announced that they were phasing out third party cookies back in 2020, it felt like we had plenty of time to prepare and get ready for a cookieless World….that time is now running out fast and there’s still a real lack of clarity from the platforms around what the new digital marketing landscape will look like.
However, in spite of the uncertainty and in the face of all the noise coming at us from big tech, the mar tech platforms, and publishers there are practical steps that marketeers can take today that will give them an advantage and edge in the new era of digital advertising. The reality is that we’re facing a World of tighter legislation around privacy so it’s not an option to do nothing.
