1. USA Salary Guide

Overview: The US job market appears to be candidate-driven, with high demand for senior positions and cautious hiring due to economic uncertainties. AI and tech advancements require adaptable, tech-savvy candidates. While average salaries are stable, specialized roles in cities need better pay. Diversity and CSR initiatives continue to influence job choices. Expedited hiring and hybrid models are essential, with a preference for in-office roles among senior candidates. Freelancing is growing, especially in media and marketing. Effective retention strategies, including flexible work and professional development, are crucial.

2. UK Salary Guide

Overview: The UK job market is also showing itself to be candidate-driven with increased job flow, especially in lower to mid-level roles, while senior-level hiring varies. AI adoption is driving demand for skills. Salaries have stabilized, but junior candidates are keen to seek raises. Diversity and inclusion initiatives, along with corporate social responsibility efforts, are gaining traction.

3. Asia Pacific Salary Guide

Overview: The current job market in APAC is unusual in that it shows both candidate- and client-driven dynamics. Top-tier candidates remain in high demand, but may have to compromise as there are fewer positions available. While there’s an uptick in job opportunities in 2024 compared to 2023, candidates remain cautious due to market uncertainties. Those with additional languages or specialized technology skills are particularly in demand, while the need for diversity and inclusion is growing. There is a high demand for talent in Japan and South Korea, as businesses expand outside of SEA markets.

Overview: In this competitive market, senior candidates boasting 5+ years of experience are highly sought after. Moreover, those with a track record of working for renowned global companies stand out amidst the crowd. Salaries in the Middle East are on an upward trajectory, reflecting the robust demand for skilled professionals. Other shifts include greater awareness of diversity and inclusion with more female hires, and a seasonal approach to remote vs office-based working.
