Membership Update - Your 2022 Wrap Up

‘Tis the season… in the spirit of all things frivolous, sparkly and heartfelt, I have created a round-up of our top Christmas ads of 2022 and why they cut the Christmas biscuit (so to speak)!

I also want to take the opportunity to wish each and every one of this 238,000 strong community a very Happy Holidays.

As we reflect on the year we’ve spent, we want to acknowledge that without your support, loyalty and enthusiasm for digital marketing, we wouldn’t be where we are today. We keep on growing. Every month we see 4,000 new members and over 1,000 new members that choose to register for one of our DMI certifications. 

Your appetite for learning, your love for our podcasts, webinars, toolkits, e-books, and articles make us want to work even harder for you. We love seeing you benefit from what we produce. So thanks to you, we love what we do! 

Which is why we are excited for 2023! We can’t wait to bring you more webinars, podcasts, toolkits, case studies, ebooks, roundtable discussions, short courses, CPD activities and much more.

If you haven’t already seen the benefits of the knowledge and breadth of experience within our community - we’ll also be making strides to make this more accessible to each of you. Those amongst you who are studying for the DMI PRO will find the guidance from those that went before you invaluable for example:  I just passed my DMI PRO exam with 70.65 %. I have some tips which may be useful for you.

Learning and development is at the heart of the DMI, which is why CPD is so important for digital marketing professionals. In 2023, we’ll be making a few changes to our CPD scheme - so that you are rewarded for your learning effort and can share your CPD more easily.  And I want to congratulate those Certified DMI Power Members who are actively participating in the CPD program in 2022 - that is 2,596 of you that have logged in excess of 7.9K learning activities. Since CPD launched, we’ve processed nearly 28K CPD submissions, which is just WOW!.

2022 Wrapped Up

We take a moment to reflect on some of the highlights we saw within the DMI Membership Community this Year.

  • Your DMI Member Community grew by an astounding 68,000 members in 2022, reaching 238K+ digital marketing professionals within this global network
  • We hit a milestone of 50,000 of our members receiving a DMI certification.
  • We were shortlisted for the third year in a row for “Membership Organization of the Year” with Memcom, and we also got shortlisted for best podcast.
  • The DMI podcast Ahead of the Game released 25 episodes this year, which have been played over 41.5K times. check them out here, subscribe, and don't forget to leave a review.
  • We’ve run 16 membership webinars in 2022. 37K digital marketing professionals registered and over 13.8K people joined us for the live sessions, asking our experts the tough questions that matter.
  • We published the Whitepaper - The Future of Marketing: A Marketer’s Vision in 2022 - which explores the experiences, challenges and predictions of marketers across all levels from CMOs to marketing executives for 2022 and beyond
  • We published lots of new and unique DMI pieces of content to our membership library this year - bringing your resource library to a whopping 1.7K+ content pieces.
  • We added a new short course to our DMI Sprints - Social Media Platforms. And we have a further 3 launching soon. So watch that space….

So, closing out with a really bad joke - be prepared…This past year, together as a community, we really sleighed! (sorry!) and we look forward to what 2023 brings. But for now, the team at DMI want to wish you and your loved ones a very happy and peaceful holiday!
