- you must hold a recognised third level honours degree (minimum of a lower second class honours degree)
- you must have significant and suitable work experience in a marketing (or associated) role

I am not very IT savvy. Is this course technical?
No, in the sense that it is not a programming course, and you will not have to learn any coding. The Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing focuses on the commercial aspect of online marketing.
What is the difference between a Part Time and Full Time course?
Full and Part Time courses have exactly the same content, the only difference is in the scheduling of classes. The Full Time Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing is currently only available to study in Ireland and consists of three months of classroom learning. Classes for the Part Time Postgraduate Diploma take place at different times on different days depending on your country of study, please contact your nearest course provider for more information.
How is the programme assessed?
The Postgraduate programme includes the completion of two Digital Marketing assignments, a Digital Marketing Research paper and a Digital Marketing Strategy. These assignments are designed to offer students the opportunity to produce meaningful and grounded Digital Marketing
projects focused on their own career or business aspirations.
Do I need to have a marketing background to take this course?
No. Many of our students have never worked in marketing before. Digital Marketing Institute programmes are designed to cater for those who would like to break into Digital Marketing after studying or working in a different area as well as those with previous marketing experience.
What is the difference between the Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing and Masters in Digital Marketing?
The Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing is the first year of the Masters in Digital Marketing programme. Students will have the option to continue on to a second year of study on completion of the Postgraduate programme to obtain a Masters level qualification if they wish.
